Jill Schultz

Effective communications takes a lot more than good writing. For more than 17 years, Jill Schultz has been helping communities tackle communications problems and achieve goals with strategic communications plans, products and innovative public engagement. Jill has worked in areas both complex and controversial. Project areas have included: containing the cost of government, crisis communications, disaster recovery, redevelopment, improving the efficiency of city government, developing support for new facilities, and community-wide visioning. She has also worked on regional, state and national projects for state departments of transportation. Past experience includes seven years as policy analyst for the Minnesota Senate and five years with United Press International (UPI). Jill's work in strategic communications and public engagement has been recognized with awards in disaster recovery, public facility development and a community outreach campaign.
