Jim Prosser

Jim Prosser's career has focused on helping communities to solve complex problems and to successfully achieve their goals. He brings to JDP Partnership Group a well-rounded executive career in both the public and private sectors. Jim has spent 28 years in city management, 20 years as a city manager in three complex, metropolitan communities. He has seven years consulting experience in a leadership position with Ehlers & Associates, Inc., providing strategic and financial planning, executive management, financing and redevelopment consulting services.

Jim's experience includes:

• A proven record of organizational change management through a focus on staff development, performance measurement, customer feedback and front-line engagement systems.
• Extensive experience in facilitating and implementing strategic planning. This includes development of a strategic and financial planning model directed at establishing an evidence-based decision-making framework for elected officials.
• The application of systematic methods of meaningful public engagement in significant community decisions.
• An established record of achieving solutions to complex public policy issues.
• Extensive disaster response and recovery experience.
• Development of an effective management team focused on achieving community goals.
• Application of highly regarded internal and external customer service programs.
